At Skion Educare Foundation, we value the trust you place in us when making donations to support our charitable initiatives. This Cancellation and Refund Policy outlines our guidelines regarding donation cancellations and refunds.

1. General Policy

As a registered non-profit organization, donations made to Skion Educare Foundation are typically considered final and non-refundable. However, we understand that exceptional circumstances may arise, and we will consider refund requests on a case-by-case basis.

2. Donation Cancellation

2.1 One-Time Donations

For one-time donations, cancellation requests must be made within 24 hours of the transaction. To request cancellation:

• Email us at hello@skion.org with your donation details
• Include "Donation Cancellation Request" in the subject line
• Provide your full name, donation amount, transaction date, and payment method

2.2 Recurring Donations

For recurring donations, you may cancel future donations at any time by:

• Logging into your account (if you created one) and managing your donation preferences
• Emailing us at hello@skion.org with your cancellation request
• Calling our donation support line at +91 97340 00393

Please allow 3-5 business days for recurring donation cancellations to take effect.

3. Refund Policy

3.1 Eligibility for Refunds

Refunds may be considered under the following circumstances:

• Unauthorized or fraudulent use of your payment method
• Technical errors resulting in duplicate donations
• Donations made by mistake (e.g., incorrect amount entered)
• Exceptional circumstances at the discretion of Skion Educare Foundation

3.2 Refund Process

To request a refund:

1. Submit your request in writing to hello@skion.org within 7 days of the donation
2. Include "Refund Request" in the subject line
3. Provide your full name, donation amount, transaction date, payment method, and reason for the request
4. Attach any supporting documentation (e.g., bank statement showing duplicate transaction)

We will review your request and respond within 10 business days. Approved refunds will be processed and credited to the original payment method within 15 business days.

4. Event Registrations and Ticket Purchases

For paid events organized by Skion Educare Foundation:

• Cancellations made 14 or more days before the event: Full refund
• Cancellations made 7-13 days before the event: 50% refund
• Cancellations made less than 7 days before the event: No refund

To cancel your event registration, email events@skion.org with your registration details.

5. Merchandise Purchases

For merchandise purchased through our website or events:

• Returns accepted within 14 days of receipt for defective or damaged items
• Items must be in original condition with all tags attached
• Refunds will be processed within 15 business days of receiving the returned item

6. Processing Fees

Please note that transaction fees charged by payment processors (typically 2-3% of the donation amount) are non-refundable. In case of approved refunds, the net amount after deducting these fees will be refunded.

7. Tax Deductibility

If you receive a refund for a donation that you claimed as a tax deduction, you may need to adjust your tax filing accordingly. Consult with a tax professional for guidance.
